Terzi – Peyami has an extraordinary gift; using both his hands and mind in clever ways to design beautiful clothing designs for women. A strong yet charming tailor who quickly gains women's admiration; enjoying both wealth and youth in equal measures. Peyami lives alone in an expansive mansion and loves his independence until receiving bad news from home and is forced to confront his past that was hidden away so long ago. After receiving word that his grandfather passed, Peyami travels back to his hometown - marking a return after years of living away from it. Peyami had an emotionally distant father with mental disabilities who embarrassed him so he moved out to Istanbul when he was only young, where his education could occur without anyone knowing of their special needs father's existence. Peyami never returns to his hometown since leaving when his grandfather passes. Without anyone to oversee him and care for Mustafa (Olgun Simsek), Peyami becomes sole head of family bringing both Mustafa and his grandmother from Istanbul together and beginning life there together as one family unit. Peyami keeps his family life private so he doesn't feel embarrassed by the condition of his father, even as an adult he still suffers the effects of childhood trauma. Peyami meets Esvet (Sifanur Gul), who becomes her caregiver after Peyami meets up with him during an accident. Esvet flees her abusive fiance Dimitri (Salih Bademci). When she arrives to Istanbul for their marriage ceremony, Esvet learns of psychological problems plaguing Dimitri; Esvet cannot persuade either her parents nor Dimitri to make changes, so Esvet abruptly abandons everything behind and escapes without giving any thought to how she did so. Esvet begins working as a caregiver at Peyami's house and remains there as she knows she can remain anonymous until a better opportunity presents itself. Esvet introduces herself as Firdevs instead of disclosing that she is engaged to Dimitri. Peyami and Dimitri are close, longstanding friends and business partners; having met since primary school. Even so, Dimitri does not know about Peyami's father; therefore she strives to keep it secret; when hiring Esvet/Firdevs as her carer - another childhood acquaintance of hers - as Esvet/Firdevs may perceive Peyami's house to be safest place in Istanbul. The Tailor (Terzi) TV Series follows Peyami Dokumaci, an accomplished tailor with an intellectually disabled father, as he attempts to keep his family together after years of separation; will Esvet escape her engagement to Dimitri; will Peyami finally discover Esvet's true identity?
